Black-Handed Henry's Potion Party
With our piratical posturing this month, it’s great to look back on the unique origins of this amazing and plunderous character, the ignominious Black-Handed Henry.
Potion Party was one of Ninja Division’s first stand alone Super Dungeon themed games. (And a sneaky way to allow people to get more Super Dungeon Dice!) Players took on the role of one of Black-Handed Henry’s prisoners aboard his ship, each with skills in magical arts and potion making. Henry saw his rise to power to find great help from the many and various potions he could imbibe to capture loot and survive to see another day.
Players earned points by mastering the ingredients and making potions for the pirate prince, using a fast rolling dice game mechanic. The game was fun, fast, and introduced a few new colorful characters that we would and will explore in the future. You may have already seen the Witch Exterminator, the Orc Chef and others, but there are still a few elusive characters like Kodama Chemist, Kobold Sapper, a spider obsessed dark elf and a self proclaimed Skeleton Lich.
